Thermal inhalation cures are indicated for the treatment of numerous disorders and diseases, including allergic ones, affecting therespiratory and auditorysystems of adults and children.
They can be performed year-round, privately or in agreement with the National Health Service.
Spa therapies are particularly useful for the treatment of chronic, chronic-degenerative or relapsing diseases.
In addition to significantly improving the overall condition, they make it possible to decrease medication intake throughout the year, especially during colder periods.
Inhalation spa treatments have no contraindications, are generally well tolerated, and intervene directly on the pathology suffered, while also simultaneously performing valuable preventive work for the auditory and respiratory systems.
Steam jet that fragments thermal water into particles that are inhaled through the mouth and reach the upper and middle airways.
The treatment, suitable for both adults and children, has an effective action on the mucous membranes of the nose and is indicated in diseases of the pharynx, larynx and trachea.
The thermal inhalation session lasts about 10 minutes, according to the indication of the thermal doctor.
It is usually performed once a day, almost always in conjunction with thermal aerosol as a basic course of inhalation treatment.
Rhinitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, rhino-bronchial syndrome.
Emission of thermal water particles in the form of a homogeneous mist that can reach even the lower respiratory tract, particularly the bronchi, and penetrate the tissues more easily.
It is carried out with a nasal fork or mask.
Usually performed once a day and almost always combined with inhalation to form the basic cycle of inhalation treatments, it lasts from 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the spa doctor’s prescription.
Rhinitis, otitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, adenoidism, tonsillitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, rhino-bronchial syndrome.
Dry inhalation treatment using only the gaseous component that is released from sulfur water, which is inhaled through a special device to reach all districts of the upper and lower respiratory tracts.
Therefore, it is indicated for the treatment of sinusitis, otitis and rhinogenic deafness.
The duration of each application ranges from 4 to 12 minutes, depending on the indication of the thermal physician.
Rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, rhino-bronchial syndrome.
It can be wet or dry depending on the size of the particles into which the salsobromoid thermal water is pulverized.
It is a therapy carried out collectively inside communal rooms, and precisely because of its ability to reach both the first airways and the end of the bronchi, it is used to treat sinusitis, rhinitis and bronchitis.
A pulverizing session lasts 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the indication of the spa physician.
It is often used as a complement to the basic course of inhalation treatment consisting of inhalation and aerosol.
Rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, rhino-bronchial syndrome.
Nasal irrigation allows for an effective flushing of the upper respiratory tract by cleansing the nostrils and removing all secretions accumulated over time, taking advantage of the effect of bromine-bromine-iodine saline water and the salts it contains.
The micronized nasal shower is a sulfur/sulfur water treatment, complementary to nasal irrigation for nasal mucosal lavage that allows for mucus fluidization.
Nasal irrigation and micronized nasal shower allow the effects of other inhalation treatments to be enhanced.
Therefore, they are often performed in conjunction with the basic cycle (inhalation and aerosol).
Each application lasts about 4-5 minutes per nostril.
Rhinosinus syndromes, Vasomotor rhinopathy, Chronic sinusitis or chronic rhinosinusitic syndrome,
Indicated in chronic or obstructive broncho-pneumopathies, lung ventilation contributes to the improvement of respiratory function, exercised with controlled pulmonary gymnastics, restoring the organs to full function and expansion capacity.
The duration of each application varies from 10 to 15 minutes.
Lung ventilation increases the benefits of inhalation treatments, so it is always combined with other treatments in prescribed courses of treatment for lower respiratory tract diseases and problems.
Chronic bronchitis simple or accompanied by obstructive component (excluding asthma and advanced infysema complicated by severe respiratory failure or chronic pulmonary heart); Chronic bronchopathies from occupational exposure to irritants and dust (pneumo coniosis) excluding complications (asthma, emphysema, chronic pulmonary heart)
