All Italian citizens are entitled, once a year, to a 12-day course of spa treatment paid for by the National Health Service.
Terme di Monticelli is a private health facility, accredited by the Emilia-Romagna Region and affiliated with the National Health Service, classified at the highest level (Level 1 Super) by the Ministry of Health.
All Italian citizens are entitled, once in a year, to a 12-day course of spa treatment* paid for by the National Health Service (any other courses of treatment will be at their own expense).
To benefit from thermal cures in agreement with the National Health Service, it is sufficient to go to your general practitioner, pediatrician or specialist for the issuance of a prescription (red prescription), which must state the diagnosis and the course of thermal cures as per the following wording.

D.L.n.463/83, as amended by the conversion law L.n.638/83 who can benefit, during the course of the year, from an additional specific course of treatment.

The agreement with the National Health Service for spa treatment cycles provides for a participation in health care costs, co-payment of € 55.00, to be paid on the first day at the acceptance counters.
EXEMPTIONS. with fixed fee payment of € 3.10: children under 6 years old and seniors over 65 years old with family income up to € 36,152.00; social pension holders; minimum pensioners over 60 years old with family income not exceeding € 8,263.32 and up to € 11.362.06 with spouse + € 516.46 per dependent child; civil invalids from 67% to 99%, labor invalids from 67% to 80%; service invalids category 2-5th; non-total blind and deaf-mute; war invalids category 1-5th not holders of direct life pension.
TOTALLY EXEMPT: category 1-5th war invalids with direct life pension; category 1 service invalids; major labor invalids above 80%; 100% civil invalids and invalids with accompaniment allowance; totally blind.
Entitlement to the co-pay exemption for income and disease must be indicated by the doctor in the appropriate space of the prescription (red prescription).

How is the prescription of treatment obtained?
The request for spa treatment must be submitted by the ‘person concerned, accompanied by a medical certificate stating the impairment and the type of spa treatment indicated, as well as the type of spa water.
The INAIL doctor ascertains that the requested therapies are granted in accordance with the law, and if he or she deems it useful for curative purposes, arranges for specialized checks and examinations.
Duration of benefits:
The course of treatment lasts for 12 days of care.

Dal 9 al 22 dicembre e dal 26 dicembre al 6 gennaio le cure si effettueranno presso il reparto termale dell’Hotel delle Rose (ingresso da via Montepelato 4) con i seguenti orari:

Sabato: 8.00 – 12:00
Da lunedì a venerdì: dalle 12:00 alle 15:00
Sabato: dalle 8.00 alle 12.00
