Coordinated by Health Director Dr. Gianfranco Beltrami (Cardiologist, Sports Physician, Physiatrist and Nutritionist), the Monticelli Spa Health Center houses a medical team and specialized staff engaged in direct patient care.
The Center is the starting point for treatment: all admissions and departmental admissions are conducted here.
It also has an area dedicated to diagnostics, examinations and specialist consultation.
The audiometric examination, performed in an enclosed, soundproof room by an audiometric technician, allows for the control of hearing loss, that is, all forms of decreased hearing function.
Impedenzometry is an easy-to-perform instrumental test for the assessment of hearing function.It is also often used in pediatric patients, with a more passive technique.
Electrocardiography can easily and noninvasively detect abnormalities in cardiac function, providing an effective diagnostic screening and control system for assessing a patient's suitability and undergoing some special spa treatments, such as mud therapy.
It is a simple diagnostic procedure that allows a functional examination of bronchopulmonary respiratory capacity, for the identification of the most suitable spa treatments, as well as the evolution of any diagnosed chronic bronchopulmonary diseases.
Vascular ultrasound to assess blood flow in the arteries and veins of the legs. A noninvasive examination critical for detecting venous obstruction, narrowing, or insufficiency, helping to prevent and treat vascular disease.
